Hebrews 9:27-28

27 And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

I think this is a beautiful couplet of verses and is yet another of one of the many places in the New Testament outside of Revelation where we are reminded again about Christ's second coming. This link at bibleref.com explains it a little more deeply in reference to the Hebrew ritual of offering sacrifices.

I started writing this blog once I got done with my blog on Revelation; I just wanted to compile a list of all the verses that reference eschatology outside of Revelation itself, both in the Old and New Testament, because it becomes clear the more you study the Bible that outside of Salvation through Christ, eschatology is the second most frequently mentioned topic. Not only are we encouraged to accept Christ's offer of Salvation but repeatedly we are reminded that there is a limited time for us to do so.

If you want to accept Salvation from Christ here are some resources:

A Prayer for Salvation from Christ:

Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer.
