Jeremiah 31:33-34

33 “For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord: “I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”

These verses are a promise from God that a new day is coming in which God puts his law in the hearts of people to know the will of God instinctively. In the preceding verses we are told that there will be a separation between people who choose to sin and people who try to emulate God and follow his will. All of this points to a time when God will take possession of his whole church and plant righteousness in every heart.

Verse thirty-three reminds me of how, in Revelation, we are told  that people who worship the world and greed and the leaders of the world are marked on their hand or forehead with that stamp, the mark of the beast. God promises in this verse that people who choose God over the world are also marked with his own mark, and the hearts and souls of those who choose him have God's mark on them, and know his law in their hearts.God then promises that we will know his law and will as if it is our own nature and our sins will be forgiven by him and forgotten.
