Mark 13:32

32 But about that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Here Jesus is telling us that even he does not know when the exact time of the end will happen; he makes it clear that only God the Father knows when these things will transpire.

Over the centuries many, many people have predicted certain days and times for the Rapture or the beginning of the Great Tribulation or other events to happen, using plain scripture or even using things like astrology to try to pinpoint these events to an exact time-frame.

We know that time runs differently in heaven; God's time is much slower and trying to transfer our hours, days, and weeks to heavenly time only leads to confusion. I recently saw a video where a woman had a near death experience and saw in Heaven a child she had miscarried over forty years, earlier. The child was a toddler in Heaven; she says God told her that children still keep growing and developing in Heaven but in the absence of time the child that would have been middle aged on earth was still in diapers in the heavenly realm.  She recounts her experience at the three minute mark in this video: link .

We can take it on faith though as Christ tells us that he will come like a thief and it will catch most of us by surprise. I think that the reason Christ wants to impress this upon us is that human beings take time to change and it is very important to Christ that we testify as much as we can to others to help people turn to Christ for Salvation because the path of Salvation is progress not perfection even though we are trying to emulate the perfection of Christ. It sometimes takes years to lay down defense mechanisms and ingrained ways of thinking and behaving and Christ loves us so much that he wants everyone to have the chance to purge as much sin out of our lives as we possibly can.

I know that I have had a crooked path and a tremendous struggle with some coping mechanisms and ingrained thinking patterns in my own path of accepting Salvation. Some of it is due to reaction to severe trauma in childhood and other parts of it are just the accumulated false belief systems of 30 years of living in the secular world as an agnostic.

I believe with all my heart that Christ is giving us every possible chance to come to him and accept Salvation so that he can cleanse us of all our sin and the things that lead us into these behaviors so that we can make different choices. I hope that everyone will accept Salvation from Christ and begin their walk with him today. Here is a useful link I found that goes into some detail about  how to accept Christ as Savior: https://www.wikihow.com/Accept-Jesus-Into-Your-Life

Many people come to Salvation using what is called The Sinner's Prayer, by which we repent of our sins and ask Christ to forgive us and to come into our lives and be our Savior.

If you want to accept Salvation from Christ here are some resources:

A Prayer for Salvation from Christ:

Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer.
